El ferry "Nordfjord" embarrancó el pasado viernes cuando se aproximaba a su muelle de atraque habitual en Rysjedalsvika. La densa niebla fue, al parecer, la causa de este accidente en el que, afortunadamente, no hubo que lamentar daños personales ni medioambientales. En el momento del incidente, solo 1 pasajero y cuatro miembros de la tripulación se encontraban a bordo. El pasajero permaneció en el ferry toda la noche.
El buque, perteneciente a la naviera Fjord 1 y que realiza habitualmente la ruta Rysjedalsvika-Rutledal-Krakhella viajó por sus propios medios -aunque acompañado por otro buque por motivos de seguridad- hasta los astilleros de Solund, donde será reparado.
